Here’s the plain-English version of what the tool does:

  1. Count all possible tickets. For a single drum game (pick 5 from 49), there are 13,983,816 different tickets. Your jackpot chance is 1 out of that number.
  2. Combine separate drums. For games with a bonus ball (like 5 from 69 and 1 from 26), we count both parts and combine them. Example: Powerball works out to 1 in 292,201,338.
  3. Show non-jackpot prizes. If you select “match 3” (or any pattern), the tool counts how many tickets would hit exactly that result and converts it to “1 in X.”
  4. Handle multiple tickets correctly. If you enter more than one ticket, we compute the chance of at least one win the right way (not just “multiply by 100”), and show it next to the single-ticket odds.

That’s it, no guesswork, just exact counting turned into easy “1 in X” odds.

  • Exact math, not estimates, pure combinatorics you can verify.
  • Works for single- and multi-drum games (6/49, 5/69 + 1/26, etc.).
  • Clear outputs: “1 in X,” probability %, and multi-ticket chances.
  • Transparent formulas shown above, so you can check the logic.
  • Free to use, no sign-up.

How to Use Lottery ‘n Go Odds Calculator?

Set up the basics below: your game’s draw format and how many tickets you’ll play. Then you’re one click away from precise “1 in X” odds.

  1. Enter the first drum: # of Balls = how many numbers are drawn; Range = 1 to N. Example: for a 6/49 game, set # of Balls = 6 and Range = 1–49.
  2. If your game has a bonus/second drum, click + to add it and fill its fields. Add more drums if needed.
  3. Enter how many tickets you’ll play (one or 100, or any number).
  4. Click Calculate.

Read the results: we show “1 in X” and the equivalent % for a single ticket and for your ticket count. Adjust any input and calculate again to compare scenarios.

How to Use the Lottery Odds Calculator Results

  • Compare games. Use the “1 in X” output to see which format gives better chances for your budget. The smaller the X, the easier that jackpot is to hit.
  • Set a ticket budget. Check the multi-ticket percentage. We compute the true chance of at least one win as you add lines. Stop when the gains clearly flatten (diminishing returns).
  • Target prize tiers. Don’t focus only on the jackpot. Review odds for match-3, match-4, and other tiers, and play the levels you’re comfortable chasing.
  • Evaluate value. Pair the calculator’s odds with the game’s prize table to get a sense of expected return before you buy.
  • Plan pools/syndicates. Enter your group’s total ticket count to see the team’s overall chance, then decide how you’ll split prizes.
  • Avoid myths.Hot” or “overdue” numbers don’t change the math; each draw is independent.

Which Lottery Draw Game Has the Best Odds?

Here’s the quick take: “Best odds” means the easiest jackpot to hit, not the biggest payout. Smaller national games usually have far better odds than giant multi-country draws. The table shows current jackpot odds (1 in X) for popular games.
