Cash 4 Rules in Arkansas
Dedicated lottery players managed to try their luck in Cash 4 on July 10, 2010, seven months after Cash 3’s presentation. Both games look rather similar, but the key difference is the number of digits you choose and the combinations you get, as well as the prizes you may win. The general terms are the same:
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase tickets and participate.
- The lottery takes place in Arkansas only.
- Each week, there are 13 Cash 4 Draws.
- 5 draws within each play slip and the opportunity to win additional prizes.
There are also four play types to select and win:
- Straight – this is a type of game where the digits you’ve picked may win only if the winning numbers come in the same order. For example, you get the prize when you choose 3687, and they appear accordingly. There are no other ways to win here. Besides, you may choose four identical numbers if you play Straight only.
- Box – here, you pick up numbers that can match in any order. The ways of winning depend on the identical numbers you’ve selected. Thus, 3 of the 4 digits may be identical for a 4-Way Box, while for a 6-Way Box, you may select two pairs of identical digits. A 12-Way Box implies 2 identical numbers, and for a 24-Way Box, all the digits selected must be different.
- Straight/Box – here, you may win both, Box and Straight. Just one combination of the numbers you’ve chosen wins Box and Straight while the others win Box only.
- Combo – it is a play type where all the combinations drawn win a Straight prize. 4-Way Combo has four possible ways to win with three identical digits picked up, while for 6-Way Combo, 12-Way Combo, and 24-Way Combo, the number of combinations and the chances to win change accordingly.
If you are going to join Cash 4, consider its rules and mechanism:
- Purchase the ticket. They are sold at any official lottery retailer or at ticket terminals all over the state.
- Select four numbers to get a four-digit number that ranges from 0000 to 9999.
- Mark up all five plays on your playslip, from A to E. Note that each line implies a different play, so you may win several times with the same ticket.
- Select the type of play you prefer. As with Cash 3, Straight (STR), Box, STR/Box, and Combo are available. In case you’ve missed this point, you play Straight.
- Mark the time that you are going to participate. Set DAY if it is the 12:59 p.m. draw and EVE if you prefer the following 6:59 p.m. play. You can try your luck in both drawings within the day if you choose both options.
- Mark the specific date you will play. If you miss it as well, you may only take part in the next draw.
Follow your winning results on the ASL official site or online on our site. The information at the local retailers as well as from the Winning Numbers Hotline, 501-682-4966 is also reliable.
