The Biggest Pick 4 Winners and Jackpots

The Vermont Lottery doesn’t provide any information about the Pick 4 winners. The prizes are not overwhelming here, and a few winners can occur every day. That is why it would be too confusing to publish their stories. But lottery history never forgets the luckiest players who won the biggest jackpots

Pick 4 Rules in Vermont

Pick 4 is the fourth game of the Tri-State Lottery, overseen by New Hampshire and Maine. It was launched in 1985, five years after Pick 4 was introduced. Then, some changes to improve the game were accepted:

  • 1998 – the Pairs play style (Front, Middle, and Back) is offered to the players.
  • 2003 – midday draws take place seven days a week. The number of weekly draws grew to fourteen.
  • 2009 – the game can be played in the Single Digit game style.

Pick 4’s structure was formed within 24 years. There have been no amendments since then, and the lottery preserves its principles:

  • You must play responsibly and wait until you are 18 to strive for the Pick 4 prizes.
  • Both the Pick 4 strategy and the Quick Pick can be applied when you enter the game and select the digits. Also, you can use lottery wheeling systems, experts’ predictions, or other methods to win.
  • The players can choose their own play style from four various options. There are Straight (matching the numbers in the exact order), Box (four identical and various digits in any order), Pairs (back, middle, and front digits in the exact order), and Single Digit. These game types offer different prizes, and the Straight wins are the biggest.
  • The bets vary from $0.5 to $5, and you win more at higher stakes.
  • You can enter the lottery any day, whether in the morning or in the evening.
  • This Pick 4 version is presented in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. So, it is available within the borders of those three states.
  • Lottery products are prohibited for online sales. Purchasing paper tickets from the lottery agent locations is the only option.

The Pick 4 rules are very simple in Vermont and are familiar to those who play it often:

  1. Search for a VL retailer nearby to get a game slip for completion.
  2. Pick four digits of ten (between 0 and 9). All or some of them may be the same, or all the numbers may vary.
  3. Select your playstyle depending on the prize you want to win. Your ticket will be drawn as Straight if you don’t choose anything.
  4. Set the time of the draw and the number of consecutive plays.
  5. Fill out the number of panels that corresponds to the number of plays (up to five).
  6. Have your ticket printed and just keep it safe until the winning numbers are displayed.

Check the numbers at the Vermont Lottery’s official site or at any official retailer nearby. The Hotline (1-800-322-8800) is also available to you, as is our results page.
